SIMULTANEOUS VISION

     Advantages of simultaneous vision bifocals:

        -near vision in any position of gaze
        -easy to fit
        -available in both hydrogel and RGP

     Disadvantages of simultaneous vision bifocals:

       -often considerable blur and flare 
            (halos and streaks around bright objects)
       -any decentration of central zone decreases vision
       -low success rate
